Our team

Dr. R. Chinnaswamy founded CSIA Law Associates after retiring from the Indian Police Service. His long experience of the criminal justice system and of public administration, together with his training in law, led him to establish a practice centred on the fair and early resolution of disputes.

He is an enrolled advocate and guides the firm's work across its practice areas.

Justice A.A. Nakkiran served as a judicial officer in Tamil Nadu before his elevation to the High Court of Madras. He was appointed an Additional Judge of the High Court following the Supreme Court Collegium's recommendation in September 2020, and was appointed a permanent Judge of the High Court in September 2023.

He is associated with the firm as Senior Consultant and serves as a panel arbitrator, bringing his experience of the courts from the trial court to the High Court.
