How CSIA Law Associates collects, uses and protects information shared through this website.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Who we are
This website, csialawassociates.com, belongs to CSIA Law Associates, a law practice in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. In this policy, "we" and "us" refer to the firm.
Information we collect
- Inquiry form. When you send an inquiry, we receive your name, phone number, email address, the type of matter and your message.
- Emails and calls. If you write to us or call, we receive the details you choose to share.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited, for security and maintenance.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The website stores one temporary value in your browser to remember, for the current session only, that you accepted the disclaimer. If you log in to the client and advocate portal, two cookies keep you logged in for that visit and show the "Cases" link; they are removed when you log out or close the browser.
Client and advocate portal
The portal is only for the firm's existing clients and advocates, and access is given only after the firm approves a request. To give access and send login codes, we keep your name, email address, phone number and role, and a record of logins for security. Case information in the portal is entered by the firm's advocates. A client can see only the cases linked to their own account and the updates the firm chooses to share; advocates of the firm can see all cases. Login codes are sent by email, are valid for 10 minutes and work once. Portal data is stored on the firm's hosting account and is not shared with anyone outside the firm, except where the law requires it.
Quick questions assistant and WhatsApp
The quick questions assistant on this website runs entirely in your browser. What you type into it is not sent to us or stored. If you choose to message the office on WhatsApp, your message is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy, and we receive it like any other message.
Third-party services
The website loads fonts from Google Fonts and shows our location using Google Maps. These services may receive your IP address and browser information under Google's own privacy policy.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and arrange an appointment.
- To check for conflicts of interest before taking up a matter.
- To meet our legal and professional obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for marketing.
Confidentiality
Inquiries are treated as confidential. Even so, email and website forms are not fully secure, so please do not send confidential details or documents until you have spoken with us. Sending an inquiry does not create an advocate-client relationship.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details only as long as needed to respond, to check for conflicts, and to meet our professional and legal obligations, after which they are deleted.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you have shared with us, in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as it comes into force. Write to info@csialawassociates.com.
